StrykeIQ is built on a simple principle: your fishing data is yours. This policy explains what we collect to run your account, and — just as important — what we deliberately don't.
Your waypoints, routes, catch log, home ports, and chart cache live locally on your device. They are not uploaded to Vyper servers. Your encrypted backup is protected by a passphrase that only you hold — we never receive or store it, and we cannot recover it for you.
Only to operate your subscription: authenticate you, issue and revoke device licenses, process payments, and send essential account email (welcome, password reset, payment notices). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
We share data only with the processors required to run the service — currently our payment processor and our transactional email provider — and only what they need to do their job. We disclose data if legally required.
